☕︎ Tech Coops Canada Social

Join 1RG Labs and Hypha Co-op for the inaugural Tech Coops Canada Social: the alchemy of great people and good conversation (with food and drinks, of course)

As tech co-ops, we want to build better technology, and we know this doesn’t happen in isolation. We’re excited to gather people from our collective networks to meet one another, share stories, and come together to create a new, more human, narrative for technology and its role within our city and our society.

Myles runs this beloved community event. Bring something to read (a book, an e-reader, or that long article you've lost among 47 tabs) and read in good company. a A quiet two hours of shared reading time; No discussion, no pressure, no pop quiz at the end.

𓊓 Community Dinner # 85

Community Dinners are a mainstay of the 1RG programming. We're food lovers and we think that there's no better way to make friends than sharing a delicious meal.

We’ll be serving a home-cooked vegetarian dinner. All you have to bring is yourself, and any alcoholic beverages you may wish to have with dinner.

Your membership now includes access to the West End Tool Library, which is just across the tracks, in the George Chuvalo Community Centre.

To access the tool library:

  1. Create an account at wetoollibrary.ca/tools.
  2. Email Chris at info@wetoollibrary.ca and let him know you're a 1RG member.
  3. That's it! Chris will set you up with an annual membership.

Dinner's are always the last Tuesday of month. As a member, you can RSVP as soon as the event posted on 1rg.space/events.

Use access code MEMBER to access the event on lu.ma.
