Coming up in January + December highlights

Happy new year! We're back with our usual programming and some exciting additions.

šŸ’« Improv Potluck Social

Zoe from Holistic Improv is hosting an improv class paired with a social and a potluck. This event is perfect for beginners who want to dip their toes into improv, improve their social skills, and embrace spontaneity in a fun, low-pressure environment.

šŸŽ¬ A 35 days cinema experience

Logistics (or Logistics Art Project) is a 2012 video installation that tracks the flow of global products, and one of the longest movies ever made with 857 hours or 35 days and 17 hours of footage.

The film follows the production cycle of a pedometer in reverse chronological order from end sales back to its origin and manufacture, and starting next week, we'll be screening the full version at 1RG.

Side Project Socials resume their bi-weekly schedule every other Thursday night. Hosted by Henry, they are a chance to hang out with others while working on your side project, with an optional final show and tell.

After taking a lil break in December, our regular community dinners are back on the last Tuesday of the month.

December Highlights

We took the second half of December off to rest and recharge, and hosted a Holiday Brunch in lieu of our usual Community Dinner. Much delicious food was had, and we collected gifts from our community for the shoebox project.
