It's July!

June was a busy month for us, concluding with our Incubator Demo Day last week.

We'll be writing more about how the Incubator went soon, but for now, we have an unconference to announce and give you a run down of what's happening this month.

🧶 Fabric: Alternative Futures with Tech Unconference

1RG and With Codesign are partnering to host an unconference on alternative futures of technology. This will be a self-organised gathering for practitioners who use technology to uplift individuals and society.

Our goal is to create an energizing, participatory space where diverse perspectives on technology can flourish—sparking connections that lead to more equitable, sustainable, and joyful futures.

Date: Friday, July 11th 6-9pm,
Saturday, July 12th 10am-5pm
Price: $90 ($30 for students & underemployed)

June is here, which means it's time for the 1RG community to engage in a ritual debate: does summer start on June 1st or June 20th? What's the difference? Meteorological season are defined by the temperature and last exactly 3 months each – June 1st for summer.
