Machinery of strange purposes pepper our modern landscape like spirits and stories. Media-makers (cameras, thermal sensors, microphones), cell towers, broadcasting gateways, transcribe our souls onto tablets to auction to the agents of unseen moneyed classes (judgement is dispensed according to their whims). Transformers, utility poles, carry dangerous and important
